SPUTNIK SINKERS 1oz - 6oz FOR POMPANO AND SURF FISHING

The SPUTNIK SINKER has become the staple for surf fisherman on every coast. They give the ability to downsize the amount of weight needed for superior holding power. The heavy tines of this sinker allow it to dig into the sandy bottom to hold your bait in the toughest of conditions. Once you start retrieving your bait the tines fold back for easier retrieval. In most cases where you used to use a 4oz pyramid sinker you can now use a 3oz sputnik. Scale your sinker to the conditions at hand. If your using smaller baits such as pompano and croaker rigs, use lighter weights. If your using larger baits for drum and sharks scale up to the larger 4-6oz weights. Your weight choice will also greatly depend on the surf and current conditions of your local waters. Plan accordingly for your next beach trip by having multiple sizes in your bag. The heavy tines are held into groves by color coded plastic tubing to help easily identify your weight size.
