SHEEPSHEAD ESSENTIALS KIT 55pc set

Our "SHEEPSHEAD ESSENTIALS KIT" includes everything you need to be successful at sheepshead fishing. It supplies you with the fundamentals items to fish for sheepshead inshore from docks, bridges, break walls, bulkheads, piers, pylons and rock piles. Grab yourself a spool of 30# fluorocarbon, some bait and get to fishing. This kit includes everything you need to set up the top 3 rigs for sheepshead - Carolina rigs, dropper rigs and knocker rigs.  

Carolina rig: on your main line add your desired weight (1/2oz - 1oz egg work best inshore) then a bead. Then tie on a swivel to your main line. From that swivel tie on a length of 30# fluorocarbon leader between 9" and 24" (in my opinion the shorter 9" is best) then add the hook. 

Dropper rig: On your main line add a swivel. From that swivel add a length of 30# Fluorocarbon approx. 36" in length. Tie a dropper loop approx. 6" down from the swivel. Add your hook to the dropper loop ( 2/0 octopus preferred ) with the tag end of your line you can tie directly onto your desired weight. ( bell sinker or cannon ball preferred or crimp on some heavy split shot. You can also tie an overhand loop to add weight as you please)

Knocker rig: Tie on a swivel and a 36" length of 30# fluorocarbon leader. on the leader add an egg weight then a bead. after that tie on your hook . ( the bead protects your knot from the weight and allows your weight to sit just above your hook on the bottom)
